We do fashion slowly

Our team loves two things: zero waste and planning. This guarantees that every piece we create finds its purpose, preventing deadstock. Crafting in small batches and staying in tune with demand minimizes excess inventory. This not only keeps our collections fresh and relevant but also significantly reduces our environmental footprint.

We use Italian fabrics made of ECONYL® regenerated nylon. It performs exactly the same as brand new nylon and can be recycled, recreated and remoulded again and again. That means we can create the highest quality new products without using new resources. As well as being a solution for waste, ECONYL® regenerated nylon reduces the global warming impact of nylon by up to 90% compared with the material from oil. Based on Aquafil calculations for every 10,000 tons of ECONYL® raw material 70.000 barrels of crude oil are saved and 65.100 tonnes of CO2 eq. emissions are avoided.

  • Rescue

    The ECONYL® Regeneration System starts with rescuing waste, like fishing nets, carpet flooring and industrial plastic all over the world. That waste is then sorted and cleaned to recover all of the nylon possible.

  • Regenerate

    Through a radical regeneration and purification process, the nylon waste is recycled right back to its original purity. That means ECONYL® regenerated nylon is exactly the same as fossil-based nylon.

  • Remake

    ECONYL® regenerated nylon is processed into yarns and polymers for the fashion industry.

  • Reimagine

    We use fabrics made with ECONYL® regenerated nylon to create brand new products without using new resources.

We celebrate people

Every Slowli piece is ethically crafted in Lithuania, Europe. Our sewing factory meets ISO standards for Environmental Management Systems and achieves excellence in environmental protection through rigorous Higg FEM audits. We maintain full control of the manufacturing process by avoiding subcontractors. Our factory is a hub of empowerment. Mainly composed of women of various ages, our workforce enjoys professional growth opportunities, English classes, and work-life balance. Our design and garment development teams can work remotely, catering to their family needs and personal responsibilities. During summer, our production team starts work a bit earlier, maximizing the evenings. With autumn’s arrival, schedules pivot for school pickups. All employees benefit from 24-hour accident insurance, prioritizing their well-being. We promote inclusivity across all age groups.

I created Slowli as a part of my healing journey. Through movement, I found the strength to discover myself and become who I am. The process gifted me with joy and freedom. Slowli embodies the celebration of authenticity. There are no predefined paths to unlock your inner power, only your unique exploration.
